i think that he can still have a job but people might treat him differently if he was to open up. This is why he only thinks about it and doesn't tell anybody since it would be a possibility that he cannot get a position. Its unfair, yes, but his sexuality shouldn't matter and other people do not understand this
Interesting, but are you referring to the specific job with the two American women or a job in general?
