MY THOUGHTS OF "SWEAT"

Sykes is going through some internal things in his life. As I read along I was disgusted by the way he treated his wife. A bully in all fashion. But I truy understand the feelings he was having with his internal self. While most of us would bash Sykes for his mistreatment of his wife, his reality is he mostlikely feel like the white man bullies him and he need to use his wife as a source for him to feel like he is a man and his home. What am I talking about. You can hear from his disapproval of his wife washing  white people clothes that he had a problem with white people. But his main focus is having control and power over people. Whether it's promoting fear, being more knowledgeable or having everyone  know he was the man. At the end, his predator ways towards his wife got him killed by another predator. A snake.
